This event is open to everyone and offers a unique opportunity to network and engage in discussions on cutting-edge research, as well as the critical topic of diversity in science. It is a chance for researchers from all cultural backgrounds and career stages to come together, share ideas, and explore how diversity shapes and enriches the scientific community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BMC Diversity Initiative<\/a> has invited three distinguished Munich-based scientists to present their current research in translational optoacoustics<\/em> (Miguel Pleitez<\/a>), lipid metabolism and metabolic diseases<\/em> (Susanna Hofmann<\/a>), and oncolytic virus-based cancer immunotherapeutics<\/em> (Jennifer Altomonte<\/a>). They will also share insights into the key experiences and challenges that have defined their careers in research. Meet-the-speaker sessions following the talks will offer opportunities for questions and open discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
