TRR 274 Young Invistigator Retreat 2026 in Lohr am Main<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 22\u201324 July 2026, the TRR 274 Young Investigators gathered for their annual retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Lohr am Main. Over two days, early-career researchers presented their latest work and reflected on the progress achieved over the past year through a series of engaging scientific presentations and discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The retreat was honoured to welcome two distinguished scientific guests, Dr. Marianna Cortese and Prof. Ari Waisman<\/strong>, whose contributions provided valuable perspectives and enriched the scientific exchange within the YI community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme was complemented by the workshop \u201cFrom Academia to Industry,\u201d<\/strong> offering insights into career pathways beyond academia, the translation of scientific research into practical applications, and the opportunities and challenges of moving from academic research to industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the scientific programme, the retreat provided an important opportunity to reflect on achievements, exchange ideas across research areas, deepen professional networks, and foster new collaborations<\/strong> among the Young Investigators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
