Congratulations to our member Arthur Liesz on receiving an European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant!
With his ERC project TRAINED, Arthur will study how the immune system can develop a long-lasting “memory” after injuries like stroke. This trained immunity can become dysregulated and drive chronic inflammation throughout the body, long after the initial injury.
